These boots are made for walkin’

21 Feb

As of time of writing and without trudging all the way down stairs to count I currently own 10 pairs of boots (ankle, shin, knee, thigh-high – all flat though may I add) – obsessed me? I THINK SO!

Now, I know for sure that I didn’t HAVE to add another two pairs to my already full at the brim shoe closet but when I came across a pair of boots that I couldn’t live without in Primark this week I knew ASAP that I would be adding another pair to my bursting boot collection.

Double Denim.

Again I have no idea what this look is about – old school gypsy-esque perhaps? little girl lost in a charity shop? attacked by the most random clothes in my wardrobe? – whatever it is I LOVE it and I wish I could wear this outfit every single day but you know me, I can’t even wear the same outfit twice in one month or the world ends! – gosh people i’m only trying to save the world!

Scarf used as a hair bow: £1.99 – H&M.
Leopard print T: £1.49 – YMCA.
Denim gillet: as seen in this blog.
Denim hotpants: £1 – Teesside Hospice.
Elephant bag: £5 – no i’m no going to tell you.
Heart ring & Eagle ring: £2 each – Primark.
Bracelets: no idea – mixture of presents, Italian market stalls. The studded one at the bottom (or top) was 25p from some charity shop in Stockton.
Black Boots: £2.49 – YMCA.

A bit of advice from me to you. Next time you’re off bowling don’t wear micro denim hotpants as they are terribly restricting when it comes to celebrating strikes and going on the dance machine.

It was acceptable in the 80s – and still is now.

First off, I want to say thank you to my wonderful boyfriend who made my amazing new banner for ‘Daily Fashion’ – I LOVE IT! Thank you Benny :D.

Sorry, about the lack of blog updates recently, it’s been my birthday so I have been ultra busy the last few days but now I will get back on track so don’t worry.

Todays outfit is brought to you by the letter N (for Newcastle as that’s where I went) and the number 1986 (the year I’m channeling.)

Glasses: £1 – Primark.
Floral Scarf: Stolen from my mam who got it as a Christmas present – M&S.
Black T: I’m guessing it’s from Primark so probs about £2.
White pleather jacket: £9.99 – eBay.
Crocodile skin-esque satchel: £13.45 – Faith (in debenhams)
Fringe Jeans: Fringe: £1.20 – Boyes. Jeans: £28 – Topshop. Sew them together as seen in this blog and you yourself can get a fabulous and fierce pair of fringe flying jeans.
Ankle boots (which I LOVE & I can’t wait for winter so I can wear them more often): Studio – £22.

Oh BTW how amazing does my hair look in this picture. I recently got it dyed more of a ginger colour and now I feel like a female version of Ron Weasley: ginger, poor, dumb and I like to say the word bloody a lot – yes it’s a good thing.
