Festival Fashion.

Fringing, fluorescent and floral galore, this season’s festival fashion has taken centre stage.

Not only do you have to dress sensibly for all types of weather, but you have to look good doing it too – remember the whole world is a fashion show!

Gone are the days of khaki macs and plain black wellington boots and instead girls will sport everything from studded snakeskin wellies to haute couture bum bags.

From the day Kate Moss turned up to Glasto in her micro Burberry shorts, tailored waistcoat and that all important pair of Hunter wellies, festival fashion has taken a whole new level of importance for goers.

The spring/summer styles this season are key for you festival goers this summer. Jumpsuits are of course a must and can take you from the sweltering hot midday sun to the cool nights.Go for a patterned style in this seasons top trends of tribal or floral to keep you top of the fashionista league.

Team the functional with the funky and pull on a pair of this year’s top trouser – the combats.Keep them skinny so nobody mistakes you for an All Saint member, and try to go for a silky material to keep you cool throughout the day.

A definite festival must have is the parka. But this season it’s all about making sure its waterproof for that crazy weather that seems to appear only on festival days. If you want to entice boys back to your tent, choose a mac with a drawstring waist to show off your sexy curves.New Look have a sexy leopard skin parka in right now for under £20 while Primark have the space-saving  ‘mac-in-a-bags’ for a mere £6.

Of course one of the key items for any festival are a rockin’ pair of wellies. Hunter wellingtons are the best of the best and if you are willing to flash your cash go for their haute couture bright pink combat boot headturners. However, if you’re on a budget after spending hundreds on tickets Matalan offer a patriotic pair of Union Jack wellies for just £12.

Most importantly make sure you’re unique and stand out from the crowd. Whether this is wearing a giant pair of glittering fairy wings, or making your own bag from old-school records let yourself go and really have some festival fashion fun.
